Challenge & Perseverance The Georgia Performance Standards Challenge & Perseverance A little bit about ME! I love the great outdoors! Running on the trails at the mountain, competing in adventure races and laughing is what makes me "ME. I believe life is full of choices so.... I CHOOSE WELL!  I am currently pursing my Specialist degree as an educational technology coach. Gifted Standards continue Affective Growth Strand The Georgia Performance Standards Gifted Standards continue Affective Growth Strand Communication Collaboration Respect for Others Self-Reflection Self-Directed Learner The affective lessons are designed to enhance social and emotional awareness of oneself and others. Our Affective begins with “What IS a TARGET COMMUNITY?” Then progresses to implementing the “Leader in Me Habits”, and onto learning the advantages of a growth mindset. Come to class prepared: ALP binder, snack, and lunch Homework fully completed and IN the Homework section of the ALP binder Sign Healthy Habit sheet If absent on an ALP day: picks up the make-up work upon return to school and completed by our next ALP day (We Missed You work) Implications for Gifted Students

The Georgia Performance Standards There was homework? Students will write their homework on their Healthy Habits paper & I share it on the Bahrville Gifted Gator Snippet. To ensure you receive my Snippet, please email me your email address to and type your child’s name in the comments. There is usually ALP homework, but occasionally there will be days without ALP homework. To help ensure mastery of the standards and skills, I highly suggest completing the classroom homework or reviewing skills taught in both ALP and the homeroom class.. Implications for Gifted Students
