“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

Assurances of forgiveness “Iniquities prevail against me; as for our transgressions, You forgive them.” Psalm 65:3

God is rich in lovingkindness and longsuffering. “The LORD is compassionate and gracious slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. . . He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.” (Psalm 103:8, 10) God is rich in lovingkindness and longsuffering.

God is rich in lovingkindness and longsuffering. “But the lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him.” (Psalm 103:17) Ezekiel 18:30-32 “… is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9) God is rich in lovingkindness and longsuffering.

God predestined a New Covenant to enable Him to justly forgive. “So the priest shall make atonement for them, and they will be forgiven.” (Leviticus 4:20, 26, 31, 35) Leviticus 5:15-16 God predestined a New Covenant to enable Him to justly forgive.

God predestined a New Covenant to enable Him to justly forgive. Jeremiah 31:31-34 Jesus Christ is Mediator of the New Covenant. Forgiveness is a sure promise (Hebrews 8:6-13; Matthew 26:28). God predestined a New Covenant to enable Him to justly forgive.

God’s grace abounds where sin increases. God’s grace does not give us liberty to continue in our sins (Romans 6:1-2, 4, 13, 19). His grace is sufficient (Romans 5:15, 17-18, 20). “…where sin increased, grace abounded all the more…” God’s grace abounds where sin increases.

God’s promise of forgiveness is not a lie but a firm foundation. “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38) 1 Timothy 1:15; Acts 22:16; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Acts 18:8 God’s promise of forgiveness is not a lie but a firm foundation.

God’s promise of forgiveness is not a lie but a firm foundation. A straying Christian who turns back to the truth in Christ covers a multitude of sins (James 5:19-20). Acts 8:22-23; Matthew 18:21, 35 God’s promise of forgiveness is not a lie but a firm foundation.

God’s promise of forgiveness is not a lie but a firm foundation. “If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:8-9) James 5:15, 16 God’s promise of forgiveness is not a lie but a firm foundation.
