World Literature (3rd 6 week grading period) Writing Prompts

Jeff Sessions: Is he racist? Using your phones, or your tablemates’ phones, research jeff sessions, Donald Trump’s cabinet appointment for attorney general, and find an answer to the question above. Look at multiple sites, research them, get past the “allegedly” and “someone that worked with him said…” and try to find the actual truth behind the hype. Answer the question: Is Jeff Sessions racist?

Reality? Is there such a thing as knowable truth— Reality? Is everything perception? Think of the Matrix—how do we know what is real (and does that word mean anything?)

How is culture like fate? Think of what we’ve learned so far about fate in this class, about reality, about culture. Can we change who and what we are? Are we merely the products of our environment, or can we be active participants in our own story. Are we authors or actors?
