Lets make a tessellation Make a line (corner to corner) on the top edge of your square that dips down into the square. Cut along this line & slide it to the bottom edge & tape in place. Repeat this process for the left side and tape it to the right side of the square

Let’s turn it into something! Trace your shape on your paper 4 times It should be able to fit inside of itself In the top right box draw what you think the shape looks like to you Pass the paper to 3 neighbors & get their interpretation Decide which idea you want to do for the final drawing & color

Begin your final project Get a piece of final drawing paper Trace your shape to cover the page & Run off the page NO gaps or overlaps! Draw your object(s) inside each tessellation Add your color schemes Choose at least 2 Color every other tessellation in a checkerboard pattern
