General Resume Guidelines Contact information should be listed as font size 18 – 24 and at the top of each document Font size in body of resume should be minimum 10, maximum 12 Margins should be .5 inch – 1 inch Be sure font, etc. is consistent throughout resume (and accompanying documents such as cover sheet, references) Font is easy to read No spelling or grammatical errors No personal pronouns Resume design consistent with profession If using a design element (architecture, VCT) be sure brand is consistent in all documents Prefer one page resume from students (if more than one page, no less than page and a half) Omit high school Save and attach as PDF when sending via email List references on separate document
