Eternal Punishment Lesson 23 Luke 16:19-31

Theme Jesus clearly taught that those who die in their sins will suffer eternal punishment. God is just. All sin must be rectified.

I. Who Has Jurisdiction over Hell? A. Christ is the One who determines who will enter the place of eternal punishment. (Mt. 10:28, Lk. 12:5) B. Both body & soul

II. Who Are the Inhabitants of Hell? Originally hell was prepared for the Devil and his angels (Mt. 25:41)

II. Who Are the Inhabitants of Hell? A. The Neglectful 1. Those who neglect spiritual opportunities will be punished (Mt. 22:13) 2. The inhabitants of Capernaum
