Loathing [loh-thing] Definition: strong dislike or disgust Loathingly: Adverb I was loathing that i had to go to my sisters soccer game after school. Loath sounds like a nasty word, so when you just think of it you can’t assume it means a good thing.

Paean [pee-uhn] Definition:Any song or phrase, triumph, joy. Pean- Noun After the horrific war was over, the soldiers sang a paean to show triumph, but also to remember the people lost in the battle. A way to remember this word is by singing a song in a situation.

Affablility [af-uh-bul-ity] Definition: Easy to talk to, or approach, pleasant. Affable-Adjective On the outside, you see affability and a good sense of humour. A way to remember this is the word affable sounds like able. So you’re able to talk to that person easily.

Ennui [ahn-wee] Definition: A feeling of utter weariness and discontent resulting from satiety or lack of interest; boredom, or dissatisfaction. Ennui- Noun My ennui with the art class was caused by my lack of interest in it; consequently, I received a lower grade than I had hoped for.

Malevolance [Muh-lev-uh-luns] Definition: The quality, state, or feeling of being malevolent, ill will’ malice; hatred. The malevolent step mother locked Cinderella in the broom closet. Malevolent-adjective
