Revised Energy Code 2008 Modest increase in component perfromance –Windows to Class 35 –Floor upgrade Added Components –Lighting at 50% CFL about 1.1 W/sf –Option for high efficiency heating and cooling equipment –Option for duct sealing –Other less interesting measures

EStar Response Preserve 15% improvement over code minimum Select options that seem most likely to be used by home builders Develop a package which provides a least costly path to 15% improvement Submit the results to EPA (ICF) for approval as a 15% improvement Calculate savings from regional procedures
