Tuesday (Tues.) 1-16-18 EQ: How does a rock change and how is it classified? WU: What are the 3 types of rocks? Ans: The 3 types of rocks are Igneous, Metamorphic, and Sedimentary.

We were not in school from Wednesday, 1-17-18 through Friday, 1-19-18 because of snow and ice so I will just pick up my warm ups here and re-date/add to the next slides for the week of 1-22-18

Tuesday (Tues.) 1-23-18 WU: How are rocks classified? Ans: Rocks are classified by how they are formed.

Wednesday (Wed.) 1-24-18 WU: List 2 ways we could classify an unknown rock. Ans: You can identify an unknown rock by it composition, the minerals that make up the rock, and by its texture.

Friday (Fri.) 1-26-18 WU: List the 4 processes that changes a rock inside the Earth from one type to another. Ans: The processes that changes a rock inside the Earth from one type to another are compaction and cementation, metamorphism, melting and cooling.
