AWEEC-Arizona Women’s Education & Entrepreneur Center Women's Business Center Provides at no cost – education and resources workshops one-on-one counseling Mentoring online resources Services in English and Spanish

Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) Conducts outreach to any & all veterans throughout the state that have a desire to start, sustain or expand a business.  VBOC along with a variety of Resource Partners and the U.S Small Business Administration, is a source for business counseling, mentoring, training, tools & resources designed to assist transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses in attaining their business goals. Boots to Business entrepreneurial seminars through the Transition Assistance Programs (TAP) at military installations throughout the state.  The Boots to Business seminars are scheduled by the TAP counselors several times per year for each installation.  The Reboot seminars are provided on as needed basis and coordinated with a variety of resource partners to ensure the widest possible audience.

First Steps- Workforce Integration Review each locations program and client needs, outcomes & grants. Staff training & experience- What they have and what they need. ALL Workforce and Case Management staff at ANL programs are trained to AWEE Services and Delivery. Cross training at each of the program sites Internal workforce committee formed to align services and plan events.

Who’s Job Ready? Does the client have substantial barriers to employment? To what extent do these barriers prevent the client from obtaining or retaining employment? Does the client have knowledge of the necessary tools for job search? Some individuals are just not ready for job search or employment if they are facing serious barriers. Identify barriers and assist in eliminating them for client to obtain employment. If client has a mental health or substance abuse issue this does not necessarily keep them from obtaining or sustaining employment. February 21, 2019February 21, 2019
