Populair songs Karaoke DVD’s with films School celebrations (drama activities) Singing competition Knowledge quizzes cartoons Two probably most succesful solutions Watching films Knowledge quiz Arguments Vocabulary building Real situations shown in films

Activity – Role Play (Complaints) 4 roles (3 passengers and 1 travel agent) Theme: Package Holiday Situation: A group of holiday makers have come back from their summer vacation in Greece. They lodge a complaint to the travel agency ‘Star Holidays’ about: the bus (‘the bus broke down on our way there’) the accomodation (‘the hotel was overbooked and we had to wait in a long line for food’) the tourist guide (‘was impolite and did not know much Macedonian’) Arguments: situation is taken from real life (they have found themselves in the same or similar situation) Spoken interaction Building their vocabulary in terms of TRAVEL

Developing writing skills Creating blogs and a school magazine Communicating with E-mail friend; (chatting thropugh the internet – further step of developing) Activities (e.g. creating a school magazine) Students do (create) this magazine once in a term.
