BOC Background BOC formed as required by Proposition 39 Provides citizens an opportunity to determine if spending of bond proceeds comply with the stated purpose of the bond measure BOC Membership, What group do they represent? Julie Scanlon (Chair) – Parent of child enrolled in the District Alexander Barna – Senior Citizen Organization Ryan Nobrega – Parent of child enrolled in the District Wayne Pitcher – Member of the Community Susan Totaro – Member of the Community William Wong – Member of the Community Need more BOC committee members Representation from a taxpayer group and a business organization group are needed The District is recruiting for additional members.

Meetings and Items Reviewed 4 quarterly meetings held (4 in 2014) March 25, 2014 July 22, 2014 September 16, 2014 December 9, 2014 Items reviewed Reviewed Measure L financial expenditures Reviewed Measure L Performance Audit as of June 30, 2014 Slide Show of active Projects.

Findings BOC has reviewed and confirmed all Measure L expenditures are in compliance with the Measure L Bond Language and as approved by voters The prioritization of expenditures are congruent with the Facilities Master Plan and approved by the Board of Trustees on January 21, 2010 The New Facilities Master Plan was approved by the Board of Trustees on September 5, 2013. The New Facilities Master Plan revisions to include Bowditch Middle School was approved by the Board of Trustees on August 21, 2014 BOC members made four (4) site visits to physically inspect active projects.
