What’s CU About? Having Fun Learning !

What’s Cu About What it’s not about: Lessons in class x Homework x Tests and Exams x Compulsory Involvement x What it is about: Learning done in activities done outside class time Learning done in lunchtime and after-school clubs Learning done in local clubs Learning done visiting interesting places Participating voluntarily

Broadening Horizons It’s not about how long for or how often someone is doing an activity It’s about trying out lots of activities – having a go! Developing schools for learning, life and work

What does it involve ? Step 1 Application form signed by parents, including parental email address Are activities children take part in approved by CU? If not, invite activity organisers to apply, if they meet the criteria – on- line link to CU on website

What does it involve ? Step 2 Keep Passport to Learning up-to date, signed by activity organiser Input credits for in-school and out- of-school activities through ASPIRE Rate activities and give feedback Collect awards and attend graduation at key trigger points
