Vampire adaptations Excellent sense of smell Sharp teeth KS3 starter Vampire adaptations Explain how each of these adaptations are useful to a vampire: Excellent sense of smell Sharp teeth Very fast reactions Strong muscles Attractive features © Snapshot Science, 2010

Vampire biology Very fast reactions Excellent sense of smell KS4 starter Vampire biology When a person is infected with vampire toxin it causes a mutation in their DNA. These mutations causes changes to happen in the body and turns them into a vampire. For each of these vampire features, suggest what changes have taken place. One is done as an example. Excellent sense of smell The number of receptor cells in the nose has doubled. Very fast reactions Strong muscles Pale skin appears to contain crystals when exposed to sunlight Has to feed on blood Can live forever – does not age. © Snapshot Science, 2010
