How to Access the Digitized Newspaper Collection
Go to our homepage: www. adarchives Go to our homepage: www.adarchives.org and click through to the Search page.
From the search page, you have two options: Search the entire collection, including the newspapers Browse the Option 2 Browse the newspaper collection by paper and issue date.
Option 1: Search the entire collection, including the newspapers: This option allows you to find specific words within issues of the newspapers. Search term: ‘Braeside’ This gets lots of other results too, so you’ll want to narrow it down to the newspapers.
Click ‘AMBA Newspaper Collection, and what you’ll get is every newspaper that mentions the word ‘Braeside’, and its location within the text.
‘More Detail’ will get you to the PDF of the newspaper issue.
Please be patient, sometimes loading takes a few minutes! You can now download the PDF to your computer, or ‘read’ the PDF on your browser. It will automatically highlight the word you’ve been looking for in the text. Please be patient, sometimes loading takes a few minutes!
