Reading check – Ch. 6 5) Why is Danny mad about going to school? 6) What do we learn about Chin-Kee? 7) Explain the importance of this image: 8) What does Melanie tell Danny? 9) From the fact that Chin-Kee is really smart, you might guess that he has what kind of parents?

Upcoming Tomorrow – We will read Ch. 9 (finish the book) and finish the packet. Thursday & Friday – In the Media Center to do the American Born Chinese Test. You will be able to use YOUR book and YOUR packet and YOUR notes, so I would highly recommend that you have all those things finished and with you. Your test AND your packet are due at the end of class on Friday. There are no exceptions, so do what you have to do to finish it.
