AFSAI Association for Intercultural Training, Exchanges and Activities

The Organisation It’s a non-profit NGO born in 1958 to promote long and short-term exchanges. It’s an organisation formed by youngsters, which proposes programs for and with young people. In 1971 acquired legal status under Italian Republic Presidential decree.

Afsai Mission is to promote: no-formal education opportunities for young people, through international youth mobility activities

Objectives Spread out intercultural learning activities for young people aiming at: promoting the mutual comprehansion between cultures through exchanges and transnational youth activities promoting young people protagonism through international youth voluntary service projects supporting the active citenzenship through the local promotion of the association Mission

Activities International Youth Cultural Exchanges; International Youth Voluntary Service; Projects (for people under and above 18); Training for International Youth Workers; Highschool year, semester or trimester Abroad (USA, Ireland, Uk, France, Costa Rica, Canada, France, Germany, Australia, Argentina) Aggregation Network for young people

International volunteering activities: Incoming & Outgoing European Voluntary Service (financed by the European Commission); Short-term Programmes (2-16 weeks); Icye Long Term Programme (6-12 months); Short- Term Intrnational Volunteering programme for youngsters under 18. IJFD Programme incoming with AFS Germany

Training Provides for young people at international level concerning: International Youth Mobility; Non-Formal Education; Youth Animation.

Support measures Government funds; Communitarian Funds; Private funds.
