Article 70- Sentences of Imprisonment HNA Lesson 26 70.00- Sentence of imprisonment for felony. 70.02- Sentence of imprisonment for a violent felony offense. 70.04- Sentence of imprisonment for second violent felony offender. 70.05- Sentence of imprisonment for juvenile offender. 70.06- Sentence of imprisonment for second felony offender. 70.07- Sentence of imprisonment for second child sexual assault felony offender. 70.08- Sentence of imprisonment for persistent violent felony offender; criteria. 70.10- Sentence of imprisonment for persistent felony offender. 70.15- Sentences of imprisonment for misdemeanors and violation. 70.20- Place of imprisonment.

Felonies Misdemeanors Class A or A-1- Life in Imprisonment (or death penalty if active). Under circumstances could also be known as 25 years to life. Class A- Term shall not exceed 1 year Class B- Term shall not exceed 25 years Class B- Term shall not exceed three months Class C- Term shall not exceed 15 years Class D- Term shall not exceed 7 years Violation- Term shall be 15 days or less or a violation conviction. A violation conviction may carry only a fine Class E- Term shall not exceed 4 years HNA Lesson 26
