Agenda Objective Status Certification Work Planned
REBIS Objectives Upgrade the current REBIS system by replacing the current client-server architecture with a web based architecture. It will utilize a wizard-like flow to guide the user through the process of filling out the retiree enrollment application. The system will automatically flag invalid or missing information during CSR data entry, in order to streamline the retiree enrollment process. The REBIS system will provide new capabilities to reduce printing and postage costs by generating correspondence to users electronically. The system will provide retirees with the option to select electronic delivery of correspondence letters instead of having to be mailed. The system will provide options to retirees, carriers, and employers to submit questions or requests electronically while logged into the REBIS website.
