Executive VP & President-Elect Roles & Responsibilities Training Presented by:

VP’s Common Duties: Serve as voting members of the Board. Acts as liaisons to the board for their respective committees. Prepare a report to the President a week before board meetings. Attend meetings of your respective committees. Secure suggestions from your committees to present to the board on their behalf. Perform other duties as requested by the President, Ex VP or the Board. Identify and mentor future chapter leaders.

Exec. VP Officer’s Duties: Shall assume the duties of President in his/her absence. Shall assist the President with any duties as needed. Guides and oversees the activities of the Secretary, Treasurer and Finance committee. Finance committee shall have a chairperson and three committee members (not to include the treasurer). Directs the budgeting process & submits budget by 1st BOD meeting. Arranges for a financial audit.

Exec. VP Officer’s Duties: Guides and directs chapter fundraising activities. Identifies and mentors future chapter leaders and board members. Shall conduct as least one chapter meeting and board meeting during the year. Responsible for maintaining chapter incorporation status and filing annual financial report with ARMA Int. by June 30th each year. Signs checks in the absence of the President & Treasurer.
