Graphing Systems of Linear Inequalities
When graphing inequalities… Solve both inequalities for y (with y on the left). Once you have the inequality in Slope-Intercept Form, Graph each “line” using the slope and y-intercept. Remember, use a SOLID line if the inequality includes “=,“ a DOTTED line if not. SHADING: For each line, go to the y-intercept. Draw an arrow in the direction of the shading Shade the area where the arrows for ALL of the inequalities point.
