Essential Question How were the city-states of Athens and Sparta different- especially in terms of the rights and responsibilities of citizens??

Athens and Sparta were both city states in Ancient Greece. Athens was a democracy and Sparta was an oligarchy. Athens and Sparta both believed in the same gods. Sparta only cared only about military. Athens cared about education but also they believed in: plays, writing, democracy, and poetry. Athens and Sparta both had slaves.
