Updates, Evaluation and Next Steps Join Us Updates, Evaluation and Next Steps

How we got here Join Us Steering Group (and other volunteer group consultation) during design and build process. Country/Region Training May 2012 Launched to Parents 15 June 2012 Staggered launch to volunteers 15 October 2012 – 1st Country/Region live 17 December 2012 – last Countries and Regions went live. 17 December 2012 – Go! is closed and all new members must be added through Join Us. 3 June 2013 – Evaluation opens. 22 July 2013 – Evaluation closes.

Enquiry – Membership rates So far in September we have received 30,828 enquiries. As of 27 September 24,719 Join Us enquiries have become members.

What’s happened? Following members’ feedback we have: Added the unit, District, Division and County to the column manager at each stage. Added a confirm to delete pop-up. Added the help information (Quickstart, Help Files & FAQs) to the Join Us site. Created 2 help videos, for girl and volunteer enquiries. Age recorded on all areas of the Girl Enquiries tab. Meeting Arranged contact report. Automated Push to Go! once meeting has occurred. Additional status – contact made, awaiting enquirer.

What’s next? Duplicate search on enquiry entry. More suitable enquiry form for Leaders to use if required. References will be collected for ALL new volunteers using Join Us. Ability for Join Us Coordinator to find all enquiries over 21 days. Waiting to Join/Transfer report including eligibility

Join Us Evaluation 4,657 volunteers responded to the all volunteer survey. 5 strands to the evaluation (Association staff, Country/Region staff, Country/Region roll out team, County Join Us Coordinators, All volunteers). Training opportunities varied across the association. Emphasis on more training needed Training should be a ‘have a go’ session Timing of the launch Should have been before the Autumn and after Subscriptions.
