How to format essays on microsoft word

Header Watch the video see how to type up your header. http://screencast.com/t/YQBNgh5sa09g It should be the left hand corner of the first page of your essay. It should include the following information: Firstname Lastname Class Name – Teacher Name Date that assignment is due

Title Titles should be center-aligned at the top of the page. No bolding, underlining, etc.

Fonts The only fonts you may use are: Times New Roman or Calibri You must use 11 or 12 point font only. Do not bold, underline, or italicize unless certain words or phrases require it.

New paragraphs Make sure to click the “enter” and “indent” buttons for each new paragraph.

Page numbers Watch the video to insert page numbers. Page numbers should include your last name as well. http://screencast.com/t/MGfqqIRSsB9
