Critical Event Management Program

Critical Event Management Program “When a crisis occurs, we’re here to partner with brokers and consultants to address their clients’ needs” Specialized resources and professionals available to provide experienced expertise and support during a workplace crisis or disruptive event Includes bank of hours that can be utilized for on-site support and management risk training

How it Works A Broker or Consultant refers a client who is experiencing a critical event, to Health Advocate for assistance Health Advocate’s Licensed Counselors provide consultation to the HR team to manage a workplace crisis or disruptive events such as: -Organizational change and restructuring -Merger and acquisition events -On-site accidents -On-site violent event -Natural disasters -Other critical incidents

Key Components 24/7 Unlimited Telephonic Professional Consultation - Assesses the event and advises the HR team on the best approach to respond - Develops a strategy to minimize employee disruption, maintain normalcy and productivity - Develops an effective employee communication plan On-Site Support -- In additional to the above, provides group facilitated discussions and one- one employee support

Key Components (continued) Risk Mitigation Training - As a precautionary measure to address situations that could lead to risk, (e.g., drug/alcohol issues, harassment, workplace violence, etc.) --Or following a disruptive event to improve preparedness

Pricing A Broker or Consultant purchases an annual policy and allocates hours to any clients on an as needed basis. Three policies and their total annual hours are available Note: All on-site professional support and training time is tracked as part of the annual hours. Travel costs are included in policy price.
