Jesus is the Prince of Peace Isaiah 9 6 For to us a child is born,     to us a son is given,     and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called     Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,     Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

When you do not have peace with yourself, you will be at war with the world. When you do not have peace with your past, you will not have peace in the present.

Jesus is the birth of hope for a world in social conflict.

Jesus gives your peace for your future Isaiah 9 5 Every warrior’s boot used in battle     and every garment rolled in blood will be destined for burning,     will be fuel for the fire.

Micah 4 3 He will judge between many peoples     and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares     and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation,     nor will they train for war anymore.

Christmas will be repeated. Jesus will come again Christmas will be repeated. Jesus will come again. Not in a stable, not in humility, but in glory, to bring the peace that can be found only in God’s kingdom.

Peace on earth through Jesus is declared at the birth of Jesus Luke 2 14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,     and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
