Some Final Thoughts Project Description Active Voice: References: Be clear and concise; provide only the information relevant to the questions. Define acronyms, and avoid jargon. Write to suggested word limits; “sometimes more is less”. Active Voice: “We will help runaway children” vs. “Runaway children will be helped by us”. References: Where stating statistics or research, reference your sources of evidence. Proofreaders: Ask others outside your program / project to read for clarity and accuracy. 2/22/2019
