KESA Changes System Yearly Update Chair Annual Summary Report Not new OVT Workbook pages revised for System completion Information regarding accreditation process, goals, and State Board Goals Chair Annual Summary Report Only report to be completed by OVT Chair Completed in collaboration with OVT members Both of these reports have already been mentioned as part of what Systems and Chairs need to do for the 2018-2019 school year in KESA.

KESA 2018-2019 Systems accredited in KESA last year (2017-2018), will need to complete the KESA Initial Report and the “System Yearly Update – Year One”. Systems being accredited in KESA this year (2018-2019) will need to complete the KESA Final Report and the “System Yearly Update – Year Five”. Systems in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year in KESA will need to complete the “System Yearly Update” for their respective year. System Yearly Update is new for all Systems. Some Systems may have already had experience with this because many of the questions were part of the OVT workbook. These questions were refined to support the System to tell their story.

SYSTEM YEARLY UPDATE Link to the System Yearly Updates. These are separated by years on the website.

This report needs to be carefully thought out and have statements supported by evidence.

General Information System feedback survey - last year’s KESA experience is ready: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2Z8M55M Systems ensure your KESA Initial Report is completed and submitted KESA Chairs make sure your Chair Annual Summary Report is completed and reflects last year’s visit discussions (Systems to follow-up if necessary) KESA Staff will be contacting Systems and Chairs who have not completed some portion of their reports. We want to be sure this information is complete because the ARC depends on this information for an accreditation status recommendation.
