IPSG Work Programme January – June 2004

IPSG Meetings: 5-6 February and 6-7 May 2003 Continuing work already started Findings of the survey Recommendations put forward in the MTP and TFE Report Focus on activities of mutual interest to as many participants as is possible Presented and accepted at the last IPSG meeting in Rome on 18-19th November 2003

Activities IMPROVING WORKING METHODS OF THE IPSG Italy are currently finalising the guidelines on working methods The Correspondents Network and EIPA Resource Centre assume the responsibilities for CAF operational activities, and report to IPSG at regular intervals Greater autonomy be given to the 3QC team (and future QC teams) Work Programme for 2004 – 2005, incorporating the views and preferences of IPSG participants

Activities CAF Evaluation of the CAF EIPA Resource Centre and present findings at the IPSG meeting in May 2004 Meeting of the CAF Correspondents Network (in consultation with EIPA) to commence work on developing an Action Plan for future CAF related activities 3QC Continue work on preparation of the conference.

Activities BENCHMARKING Develop the Learning Lab (LL) initiatives on road safety and procurement Italy to present a progress report on procurement in Feb. France to present a progress report on road safety in May. Proposal: To set up a subgroup of the IPSG to commence work on benchmarking in preparation for drawing up an annual programme of work during the Dutch presidency to be implemented during 2005

Activities COMMUNICATION/KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT New EPAN website Scheduled for May meeting and propose to submit to DGs for approval E-Gov group and discussion paper for comments
