Course Options for Rising Freshman Academic World History to 1500 Introduction to AP WH (formerly Pre-AP) Both Courses Address same content Primary Source Analysis *WH1 SOL .5 Bump on GPA Prepare students for AP WH Independent learner with previous writing experiences Emphasis on essay writing Aim for timed tests by end of year Up to 60 minutes of HW between blocks No Bump Short Answer questions/Shorter essays Developing writing skills Visual and written projects per quarter Untimed tests Up to 30 minutes of HW between blocks Contact Mr. Richard Segerdahl (dept. chair) for more information- rsegerda@lcps.org
