Short Summary 28 Days Later, directed by Danny Boyle and released shortly after 9/11, follows the story of four survivors of the zombie apocalypse, which was caused by the biologically engineered “rage” virus. As they search for a safe haven and discover that human interaction is the key to survival, the film contrasts a family based civilization versus an institution based civilization.
