Rooms 302, 400, 311, 316, Laptops, Chromebooks Computer Lab Rules Rooms 302, 400, 311, 316, Laptops, Chromebooks

#1 - WWJHS Technology A computer/laptop/Chromebook has been assigned to each student for his/her use, but the equipment belongs to WWJHS, not to any individual; therefore, students are NOT to tamper with it in any way like marking on it, removing the Serial Number sticker, or damaging it in any way. You are not allowed to set the computer to suit your personal wants.

#2 – Desktop Settings Do not change the desktop settings including adding screen savers, moving or deleting icons, or changing auto-format.

#3 – Chromebooks Always carry your Chromebooks with two arms/hands close to your body. When you have to walk with your Chromebook open, please hold with your arms underneath and two hands cupping the back never by the screen. Always log off before you close your Chromebook to turn in to the cart.

#4 – Saving Do not save to the C drive, My Documents, or to the desktop unless you are told to do so by your teacher. Never download anything to the computers unless instructed to do so by your teachers.

#5 – Lab Inspection The labs and/or technology will be inspected at the end of each period for abuse of any type. Any abuse to any of the computer equipment will result in an automatic referral to the AP’s office.

#6 – Computer Abuse If a student is found guilty of abusing the computer in any way, that action will result in an automatic write-up and possibly the loss of computer privileges for the remainder of the school year.

#7 - Food or Drinks Absolutely NO FOOD OR DRINKS are allowed in the computer lab. This includes GUM or CANDY of any kind. Violation of this policy will result in a disciplinary referral.
