Shape the Future Learning Objective: To understand the Millennium Development goals and their impact on global society

Learning Outcomes By the end of the lesson: All pupils will be able to describe at least one of the 2015 Millennium Development goals Most pupils will be able to justify an opinion on whether it was achieved by 2015 Some pupils will be able to analyse possible ways to achieve particular examples of the goals.

Main task Develop a manifesto with three key goals to follow on from the MDG’s. Ensure they are achievable. They can be three from the current list but you must explain what you are going to do differently to ensure that the goals are met. Present your speech and ideas to the class.
