TOP6 – WP4 Coordination and Management JPICH Coordination Office JHEP2 Steering Committee meeting JHEP2 Fifth Meeting Rome, 13rd June 2018 JHEP2 TOP6 – WP4 Coordination and Management Technical and Financial Second Reporting Period 1/7/2017-31/12/2018: rules and activities for Participants Patrizia Bianconi JPICH Coordination Office

JHEP2 PARTNERS BUDGET JHEP2 Fifth Meeting Rome, 13rd June 2018

Interim payment received after 1 Interim Reporting Following the approval of Reporting Period 1 from the Commission Interim payments reimburse the eligible costs incurred for the implementation of the action during the corresponding reporting periods. The total amount of pre-financing and interim payments must not exceed 90% of the maximum grant amount set out in Article 5.1. JHEP2 Fifth Meeting Rome, 13rd June 2018

JHEP2 BUDGET PARTNERS ALREADY RECEIVED 1st and 2nd payment

REPORTING - PAYMENT REQUEST From GA 20.3 Periodic reports — Requests for interim payments The coordinator must submit a periodic report within 60 days following the end of each reporting period. The periodic report must include the following: (a) a ‘periodic technical report’ (b) a ‘periodic financial report’ JHEP2 Fifth Meeting Rome, 13rd June 2018

JHEP2 Periodical technical and financial reporting 30 November 2018 Starting date of the contract : 01 January 2016 2nd Review Interim Report at 36 months (within 60 days) (From 1 July 2017 to 30 November 2018) 30 November 2018 FINAL PROJECT REPORT at 48 months (within 60 days) 31 December 2019 JHEP2 Fifth Meeting Rome, 13rd June 2018

JHEP2 Recommendations for future works The JHEP 2 project review report for the first period was prepared by Ms Katerina Malaga. The project was considered successful. However, some recommendations have been made to the partnership: More information about the project and the results on the JPI Heritage Portal is needed, as it is not always easy to reach. More clear effort should be shown in the second stage of the project to transform the Cultural Heritage Portal into a Cultural Heritage Knowledge Hub. JHEP2 Fifth Meeting Rome, 13rd June 2018

JHEP2 Recomandation for future works · Both the questionnaire (D1.1) and the survey using Key Performing Indicators - KPIs (D.3.2) are giving information of varying quality - in some cases they are very selective for a number of countries and areas of cultural heritage. For the next period an update of the questionnaire with more specific focus on alignment of scientific programmes to JPI CH SRA is recommended. This can be part of upcoming deliverables in WP3. Also putting this information in a form of a database would be beneficial for cultural heritage community and for the partners. JHEP2 Fifth Meeting Rome, 13rd June 2018

JHEP2 Recomandation for future works · The identified bottlenecks and the mitigation plan need to be implemented and verified. A detailed and realistic plan for actions needs to be prepared in order to achieve: ‐ (Inter)national, cross disciplinary and sectorial networking and knowledge exchange between cultural heritage researchers and the various partners of the JPI CH ‐ Alertness and active involvement in the development of new national strategies and funding schemes relevant to the JPI CH's SRA. JHEP2 Fifth Meeting Rome, 13rd June 2018

JHEP2 Recomandation for future works The workshop in Madrid was really fruitful and showed a very good collaboration among JPI CH members. Nevertheless, since it was not possible to agree on a roadmap/strategy on alignment in that occasion, I strongly insist for the JPI CH to discuss and adopt it in the weeks after the upcoming JPI CH GB. Please consider that according to JHEP2 DoA in 2018 and 2019 the JPI CH should fully implement actions on alignment and that in this regard the project is behind the scheduled workplan. JHEP2 Fifth Meeting Rome, 13rd June 2018

JHEP2 Recomandation for future works Technical reports should integrate contributions coming from different deliverables to give a general overview on a certain problem/ topic (i.e. information on alignment activities coming from different deliverables should be integrated in an integrated vision). The amendment of JHEP 2 project should be finalized soon. We agreed on postponing some milestones and deliverables to fit in the EYCH (eg., workshop on alignment, conference on governance etc.).
