Schools should block the use of Youtube in classrooms all across the country. “Teens spend approximately 15% of their time on media-related websites at home” (Courie). There is just not enough time in class to be wasted on such sites.

Schools should block the use of Youtube in classrooms all across the country. “Teens spend approximately 15% of their time on media-related websites at home” (Courie). Such a high percentage suggests that teens get their “fill” of media at home. The time spent in school should only be focused on books, reading, and writing. Adding on to the 15% of media-related time is just a waste for students and doesn’t benefit them in any way. There is just not enough time in class to be misused on such sites.
