About PGDHM.. A novel idea through an innovative course called as POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT is being started from this year. The course is specially designed to address the increasing demand of quality care through appropriately skilled and trained health care professionals having managerial skills in panning and addressing issues both at health facility and in public health domain.

WHAT IS NOVEL IN THE COURSE? The course is a unique blend of theoretical and field and application based teaching. There are only a few elite institutions like IHMR which offer these types of courses. No educational institute in Gujarat offers such a full time course in Health Care Management. And Unfortunately all the posts of NRHM in Gujarat requiring Health care managers like District Programme Coordinators, Project Associates are filled with outstate students

The Novelty in the course is mainly because of the autonomously and uniquely designed Curriculum which covers both public health as well as hospital management aspects of the Health care. This not only ensures greater employability but also gives the students a thorough exposure and knowledge about the health care scenario of our country.

THE COURSE LETS YOU MOVE OUT OF THE CLASSROOMS.... To make the course more comprehensive and application based, Parul Group has joined hands with a reputed NGO called as Deepak Foundation. The Organization has its own Public Health Training Institute which has been implementing health care services and undertaking large scale intervention research projects in partnership with various government departments since three decades now. This joint collaborative effort makes the course a distinctive endeavour with implementation of the concept of applied learning.
