CNC Box

Objective To design a box with a fitted lid. The interior space of the box will be a percentage of the overall volume of the box. Every group will have a different percentage that they will use for their box.

Area Concepts You must break the area into sections in order the calculate the volume. Areas: - A, B, & C are rectangular volumes. - D is a cylindrical volume.

Percentage Calculation To determine the area percentage Divide the volume of the interior space by the total volume of the blank, then multiply by 100. Volume = interior volume X 100 total volume
