Curriculum Vita Professional Objective My professional objective is to create a stimulating learning environment for my students by keeping up with their interests and the growing use of technology in society. Philosophy of Research As a mathematics educator, I am a life long learner. Research helps me to fill my educators’ tool box with strategies and knowledge to help my students succeed. Studies have shown that students have difficulties with math on standardized tests. Therefore, I want to focus on research that will lead to student’s better understanding of mathematical concepts as well as increase their test scores through the use of technology. Students that do well in mathematics are better equipped to succeed in today’s technology driven marketplace.
