STEM Paper Chains Believe C

Mission 1: Marking the Ruler We have already gathered our materials. Now we mark the width of one link on the ruler. We do not go over the minimum width for the link because the paper chain will be shorter. When the you are marking the chain you have to be careful not go over or under the minimum width. Aniya is marking the ruler.

Mission 2 : Measuring the Paper Together We measure the paper sideways each paper chain link is ½ inch wide. We mark the place where we will cut the link. We each take turns tracing the place we are going to cut .After tracing all the lines we cut the links out.

Mission 3: Taping the links together We tape the links while Emiliano passes the tape to us. We tape some of the links on top and some in between. Mission 3: Taping the links together

Mission 4: Measuring the Paper Chain Next we measure the paper chain. The paper chain was about 4 feet. Mission complete! Mission 4: Measuring the Paper Chain

Recording Information Last but not least we record our information. We all take turns writing what we know. Members in our group are Believe Paige Aniya, And Emiliano.
