Presentation transcript:

Learning Targets I can use sensory language and transition words to describe a primary source artifact from Ancient Egypt. I can summarize information from a secondary source related to an artifact from Ancient Egypt.

Let’s Look at the Rubric

Editing your Report Check capitalization. First word of sentence. Proper names like Nile River. Check for ending punctuation. Check spelling of important words, especially names that spell check might get wrong. Read aloud to yourself. Does the grammar sound correct?

Formatting your Report Text should be set in standard font and size, such as Calibri 12pt. Line spacing should be set to 1.5 lines. Title can be bigger font and centered. Paragraphs should be left-aligned. First line of each paragraph indented.

Optional Enrichment Task: Create a Cover Page for your Report

Printing Your Report File  Print This creates a link to a pdf. Click link to open pdf. Look for printer icon. Look for one of these printers: Eck-Library-Copier Eck-Room205

Directions Get the same computer you used yesterday. Use the SPS Student Portal to login to Office 365. Look in your History folder for your file titled “Egyptian Artifact Essay”. Or, look in “Recent”. Finish writing your paragraphs. Revise and edit! Print final draft. Start work on the cover page.
