PEMDAS MATH MADE EASY

PEMDAS: The order of operations Operations means things like add, subtract, multiply, divide, squaring, etc.

PEMDAS Parentheses In the order of operations process the first step is to do the numbers located inside the parentheses. ( 2+2) = 4

PEMDAS Exponents In the order of operations process the second step is to do the numbers with exponents. 22 = 4

PEMDAS Multiply The third step in the order of operations process is multiplication. 2 x 2 = 4

PEMDAS Division Dividing numbers is the fourth stage in the order of operations process. 4÷2 =2

PEMDAS Addition The fifth step in the order of process is the simple process of addition 2 + 2 =4

PEMDAS Subtraction The last step in the order of operations process is subtraction 4 -2 = 2

PEMDAS Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally An easy way to remember the order of operations… Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally
