Simplification Behaviours Charter This industry charter, signed by members of the Step Change in Safety Simplification group and supported by the Oil & Gas UK Board and the Step Change in Safety Leadership Team, is a collective commitment to work effectively, efficiently and co-operatively. It will be applied by every company and to all activities in order to achieve transformational change for the safety of the UK’s offshore oil and gas industry and ultimately reduce risk in the workplace. To promote the behaviours that will deliver a safe and sustainable industry capable of achieving simplification and therefore best serving its stakeholders My organisation will; Provide access to decision makers through a specific, fast-access point, in order to escalate issues in a timely and effective manner Strengthen industry co-operation through continual improvement and support for standardised documents and approaches Commit to continuous improvement through regular reviews of the delivery of this workstream Have a representative at every meeting Be prepared to change existing systems and champion adoption of simplification output  Advocate communication of this commitment throughout my organisation and stakeholder network This is the charter being signed by industry.
