On the Survey Radar: Release April, 2017 On April 14th CMS released the Hospital IPPS for Acute Care Hospitals and the Long Term Care Hospital Prospective Payment System and Proposed Policy Changes. A component of those regulations are proposed changes to the regulations for Accrediting Organizations. The proposed changes are to obligate Accrediting Organization to make public the results of all survey activities. This aligns with CMS’ vision for full transparency.
