Dynamic Characters that change or grow Your protagonist is almost always a dynamic character
Static Characters that stays the same
Flat Character Flat Character A simple character that does not develop mentally or emotionally and often has strong defining characteristics (aka "simple character") Sometimes this is the same as a Static character… but sometimes it isn’t. Never the same as a dynamic character.
Round Character Round Character Complex characters that undergo development and can even surprise the reader (aka "complex character")
