Philosophy The Sophists.

First - and this is really important What does BC stand for? Technically BC is no longer used. The correct term to now use in all your answers is BCE - BEFORE THE COMMON ERA What does AD stand for? The correct term to now use in all yourt answers is CE - Common Era.

Today you will learn: Who were the Sophists. When and Where they Existed Their Central Teaching.

So who or what are Sophists? The Sophists is a name for a group of thinkers that emerged in the 5th and 6th centuries BCE (Roughly 7 or 8 thousand years ago)
