What will you learn? Introductory course to the field of Computer Science Computer Science != Programming Computational Thinking / Algorithms Lectures from faculty to “preview” other courses/areas Explanation of the major Practical issues faced by Software Engineers

Grading 100% Attendance (13-16 lectures) Sign-in sheet each day at beginning of class If you’re not here (in a purple seat) at that time, you don’t get credit Signing in for someone else is an honor-code violation resulting in an F for the course (for a first violation)
