There are 3 types of sentences 1. simple 2. compound 3. complex

“I am one independent person. I can be on my own.” Simple Sentences Simple sentences are like single adults Simple sentences are 1 independent idea; they do not need a second idea to be finished. “I am one independent person. I can be on my own.”

Simple sentences often have ….. 1 subject + 1 verb Justin Bieber is my favorite singer. 2 subjects + 1 verb Justin Bieber and Britney Spears are my favorite singers.

Simple sentences can also have …… 1 subject + 2 verbs Justin Bieber sings and dances. 2 subjects + 2 verbs Justin and Britney sing and dance
