Kite- a quadrilateral with 2 distinct pairs of 

congruent consecutive sides; diagonals are 

perpendicular; exactly 1 pair of opposite 

angles are congruent; one of the diagonals 

bisects the pair of non-congruent angles; 

exactly 1 diagonal bisects the other

Trapezoid- a quadrilateral with one pair of 
parallel sides; leg angles are supplementary Bases- parallel sides Legs- non-parallel sides

Isosceles trapezoid- a trapezoid with each 
pair of base angles congruent; diagonals are 
congruent
