Dating n Many people begin dating in middle school. Ways that people meet: –at school, work, church, etc –a party or an outing with friends –at a bar or nightclub

Dating customs n Either the man or woman may ask the other person for a date. –but most often the man does n On a date, one person might pay the bill or they might share it. If the man always pays, it is called being traditional. –some women think this is romantic –some women prefer to be independent

Sex before marriage n 40% of Americans say it is wrong. However, most people are tolerant of other people s choices.
