TRIPLOT TriPlot is an interactive plotting program for trilinear data. The program was constructed for scientific use where accuracy and publication quality output is essential. TriPlot also exports graphic images in vector and rastor formats that can be imported into standard graphics packages or presentation software. © 2001 - S.J. Baedke and T.A. Thompson

TRIPLOT How can enter Data From the Screen? Two methods are available: Setting Points with the Mouse Setting Points with the Arrow Keys © 2001 - S.J. Baedke and T.A. Thompson

Setting Points with the Mouse TRIPLOT Setting Points with the Mouse When the mouse cursor is over the triangle, the cursor changes to crosshair and the cursor coordinates are displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the application area. Click the left mouse button on the triangle, and a point is set at the A, B, and C coordinate of the cursor. © 2001 - S.J. Baedke and T.A. Thompson

TRIPLOT Setting Points with the Arrow Keys The arrow keys and number keypad can be used like the mouse to set points. This method is slightly more accurate. Use the arrow keys to move the mouse cursor over the triangle. The cursor will change to a crosshair and the cursor coordinates will be displayed in the status bar.. Press the Insert key, and a point will be set at the A, B, and C coordinates.

TRIPLOT How I Change Point Properties? Point properties are set on the Data tab. Click on the Data tab at the bottom of the trilinear diagram. A spreadsheet is displayed for entering point data. Like most modern spreadsheets, you can begin entering data by just typing in the cell. To edit data already in the spreadsheet, double-click on a cell or press the F2 key. The only exception to double clicking is the last column on the right. This is the column that shows the data point. The F2 or a right click will drop down a list of points that can be displayed. Select the point you would like to see. You can set individual properties (point type, line and fill styles) for each point on this form. If you select Apply after setting point properties, only the properties you changed will be set. Select Apply All to set all properties. This will enter a point that looks like the point in the upper right of this form.

How I Change Triangle Properties? TRIPLOT How I Change Triangle Properties? Almost all triangle properties are set on the Properties tab. Select the Properties tab at the bottom of the triangle. You can change most line/fill styles and fonts for the triangle, grid, axes, legend, labels, ticks, and default point. Depending on program options settings, these changes will be saved as defaults for all new diagrams. © 2001 - S.J. Baedke and T.A. Thompson
